Parenting Your Parents written by Michael Gordon, MD and Bart J. Mindszenthy

Are you struggling to manage your parent's health care, finances, quality of life, or even independence? If so, you’re not alone. Many millions of people globally and especially in North America are confronting a new reality as an unprecedented demographic change sweeps over the world. People are living longer than ever before, thanks to medical science and positive life-style changes. As a result, millions of elderly parents and grandparents have slowly but surely become more dependent on their loved ones, especially their adult children, to provide them with the love, care, support, and attention they need.

More often than not, these ‘children’ are faced with juggling to balance caring for aging parents while maintaining their jobs and relationships with spouses and growing kids … let alone trying to find some 'me' time. If this is your world, or heading that way, Parenting Your Parents will be a welcome source of support, information and advice for navigating the challenges you’re confronting.

Since the 3rd published edition in 2013, much has happened in the field of eldercare. There is now an increasing awareness of the complex challenges posed by the expanding aging population in North America. This 4th edition has enhanced narratives that are more contemporary than in the previous 3rd edition. This edition will also come out as an audiobook version in addition to the paper copies and Kindle formats.
