This is Dr. Michael Gordon. I'm a regular contributor to Health Plexus in the Journal of Clinical Care. A decision has been made, along with the editorial and managerial staff, that we will develop a series of discussions on issues related to the aging population. I'm a geriatrician and this has been my life's work for over 50 years. For the first segment, I want to address one of the most important issues related to the aged, and that is the proper use and risks and benefits of medications.
